Bypass Region Matchmaking? How to not be locked people same region

Hello,

It is more a question than a bug.

I'd like to know how to bypass the region matchmaking? For exemple, if i play with mostly people from my country, i'd prefer to play with others people as i usually do in mmo. I do have strong issues and not fun gaming experience with my people, for the last 15 years i haven't got to play with them, i'd like to do the same in here.

Is it enough to switch living region in origin account option? Or i will encounter lag from long distance host? Or i need to use a VPN aswell?
