I figured so to, i'm actually not running anything except windows defender. And it has a "feature" that does not let you tamper with certain folders for instance my documents and such, but this is turned off. But if you know where those settings are save? I can go tinker it with myself since this is probably not an origin issue, might be an windows/microsoft thingy that needs to be changed.
Then i can look into to logs to see what's what on the crashes, btw latest patch i've noticed far less crashes! Nice!
I believe those files for the client settings should be saved under the Origin folder in the AppData\Roaming folder in Windows. If something is blocking changes to the files in that particular folder it might be the culprit.

Hi Again,
I have been out of luck with this game, still crashed intermittently to the Desktop and i still have no clue why.
What i can see in \crashpad\db\ - there is created crashdumps but i do not have a too to analyze and there is no way to contact tech support to get further help.
I really like this game, but i need some help to narrow my problem down, i've been trying more or less everything that i can think off. What should i do now?

Hi @roohimself,
I appreciate you following up. I'm sorry to hear you've still been running into crashes.
Were you ever able to try setting up your PC in a Clean Boot to test and see if that makes any difference at all? If not, can you give that a shot and see if it helps? If these crashes are related to something else running on the PC that might help to get around it. For more information on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Let me know how that goes when you've had a chance to try it out.
Thanks!
