Client is not running the anti-cheat, or failed the anti-cheat authentication

i keep getting an error when opening the game saying"The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti - cheat authentication" how do i fix this its been like this for 4 days and ive tried everything to fix it.

Sorry to hear that the game hasn't been running due to an error.

If you haven't already, please give the following troubleshooting steps a try:

Verify game files on Steam

Check if Windows, drivers, and other software are up to date

Make sure all EA and Steam-related .exe files are exceptions to anti-virus software and Windows Defender

Close all potentially conflicting background applications

Disable overlays

Repair Apex Legends and Easy Anti-cheat

Clean boot your device
