Cpu does not have POPCNT! help

    Hi @trakgamer12 and welcome to Answers HQ

    Your CPU is below the minimum system requirements for Apex Legends and therefore wont be able to run the game.

    Minimum system requirements:

    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7
    • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz / AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor
    • RAM: 6GB
    • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 / Radeon HD 7700
    • GPU RAM: 1 GB
    • HARD DRIVE: Minimum 30 GB of free space

    There's sadly nothing we can do except press the "me too" button on threads in here.

    POPCNT is a part of the SSE4 CPU instructions as can be seen here:

i have q6600 also im playing with this cpu PikG 🙂 but i cant play this game bllsht

    did you manage to find a way around this? got the same CPU and losing hope 😢

      You could always use a cloud gaming service.

        I don't know why you are so adamant about wanting people to upgrade their PC instead letting the devs fix their a Free-to-play game for people of different rigs to play the game. Are you working for a hardwares shop or something?

        But in all seriousness, people wants answer from the devs themselves after they offered solutions to the problems if they're gonna fix it or not and if not then why? Not from a random guy on the Internet who clearly provides nothing to the conversation at all.
