@EA_Mari I’m just speaking for everyone here when we ask why we can’t get direct and honest answers about how scuffed this all is.
Why on earth would you guys put a time limit on linking accounts? Why is it that you guys can’t merge accounts from the same owner? Nobody uses the EA app, they use Steam, XBOX, PSN, etc. so hundreds if not thousands of people ended up making an account way back in god knows when and then forgot about it, because it was through Xbox or PSN. So then they migrate to PC or visa versa and create a new account, only to find out you guys put a single life token on the linked platforms. Whose decision was that and for what reason would they think it’s a good idea?
I have 2 accounts, I didn’t even know I had the first account, and guess what? I have access to both, so tell me and the hundreds of others exactly why it is so impossible to merge accounts and make this cross progression happen the way people had been asking and hoping for years? Your advisors even said the data is on their end, when your advisors unlink an account and then re link it the progress and purchases are there, so what’s stopping you guys from allowing people to transfer a linked platform to the current or proper EA account? It makes no sense why you guys would literally put in place practices that delete everything just because they want to update and transfer things to newer systems.
Blocking chat so people can’t raise the issue? That’s blatant and obvious curtain pulling to shroud the issue, people just want answers and want to know why you can’t fix the issue? People spent countless hours grinding in the game and worked hard to spend money on your game that in turn pays your salary, if we’re paying we want to know that we get to keep what we bought.
I’m sorry for ranting but this all just reeks of shady sh*t. To some it doesn’t matter, to others this game is their favorite and they are passionate about it. We all would love to see you guys be passionate about it as well and to help rectify this insanely wild issue.
