Cross Progression Issue

So, I have my Xbox account linked to my current EA account (this one), and when I launch Apex, it uses my Steam account (also linked here) with no prompt to merge accounts. My Xbox account has been active since season 5 and has all my stuff there, so I don't care about losing my steam progress. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Also, when I  use a tracker to search up my Xbox account, it still has all of its stats up.
