Same exact issue. This is infuriating. At least EA support has responded to some people in this post, I made a ticket 3 days ago and only got an auto generated response with general cross progression info in it, no solution to this problem at all.
At this point all I need them to do is let me unlink my Xbox account again so I can relink it with the one that has all my progress, what is the deal with the 6 month lock out period? I've spent thousands on this game and been playing since Season 1, I'm done if everything is just lost. This should be pretty easy for them to fix to at least get me playing and spending money again, but they don't seem to be interested.
