Sorry to hear you’ve been running into code: Tap so frequently since the start of Season 31. I can understand how disruptive this is when it repeatedly prevents you from getting into Ranked matches.

Since the issue appears to happen specifically while connecting to Ranked servers, please try the following:

• Restart Apex Legends and your PC.
• Verify the integrity of your Apex Legends game files.
• Try switching to a different Data Center from the title screen.
• Temporarily disable any VPN or unnecessary background network applications.
• If possible, test a few matches on another network to see whether the same issue occurs.

Hi, there hasn’t been any reply for a while. Has the issue been resolved?

I'm playing on xbox and Ive tried everything. Cant play more than 1 match without crashing. Had to switch to smurf acc only to experience this issue there too in every match

No, these do not solve anything. I have tried all of them. I imagine the issue must be with ranked matchmaking on the server side. Otherwise, why am I able to connect to playlist, public matches, and wildcard without any issues.

Thanks for confirming that you’ve already tried the previous troubleshooting steps.

One additional thing that may be worth trying on PC is completely closing any overlays and unnecessary background applications, as another program running in the background can sometimes interfere with the game.

Since you mentioned that the issue only happens when connecting to Ranked while other modes work normally, please let us know if closing the background applications makes any difference.

It’s helpful to know that switching accounts didn’t make a difference.

Could you also let us know whether you’ve already tried the network troubleshooting steps from the guide I shared earlier?

Also, does the issue happen specifically in Ranked, or are you seeing it in other game modes as well?

After a restart, where Apex is the only application open in the gui, no steam overlay, no AMD overlay, the issue persists.

Since the issue still occurs after restarting with only Apex running and with both the Steam and AMD overlays disabled, we can rule those out for now.

Yeah only ranked is crashing.. I've tried every possible thing to fix this but it's not working. Stuck in platinum 1 on every 3 accounts 'cause cant join matches. Today it worked 2 matches in a row but right now game is just unplayable. Tried to play but I got code tap 5 times in a row so I'm very frustrated..

I've only been able to play 1 ranked game in 24 hours. Could you please fix the problem and not give the instruction "change data center". The players' job is not to fix a problem that has been in the game for years! Thank you!
