I have a issue where Apex Legends wont go into Exclusive Full screen mode, if I go into any other resolution other than 1920x1080(native) it will go into fullscreen exclusive mode I am also one of many others who have been having this issue it has been a few days and even with the patch no avail to a fix, I have tried multiple methods e.g. ALT+ ENTER disabling third party applications etc.

Hi guys,
I posted this onto the subreddit but figured I'd crosspost to here after seeing Jayfresh's post:
Bit of a strange one and no huge deal as it's not exactly a lot of effort to just hit ALT+Enter, but I'm not sure why it's occurring; I'll open the game and it's in windowed mode, I have Fullscreen selected in settings already, but I have double-checked as well, I ALT+Enter and it goes to fullscreen and the next time I open it, it'll be windowed again.
More of a nuisance than anything else, any suggestions welcome, cheers!

Everytime I log into play Apex my game is in Window Mode even after I change and save it to FullScreen. Also when notifications come up while in game it tabs out of my fullscreen mode at times. PLEASE FIX THIS. This is happening to everyone....

Video config file is located in :
C:\Users\(*Your Useraccount*)\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local
Video config.txt
Can you manually enter :
"setting.defaultres" "1920"
"setting.defaultresheight" "1080"
"setting.fullscreen" "1"

I have tried this Doesn't work also I have noticed i cant go into exclusive Full Screen no matter what resolution i go

Hey did u try forcing it to launch in full screen from origin, if not here's how to :

1.open origin, go to game library
2.right click apex and click properties
3.go to advanced launch options and type
"-fullscreen" without quotes.

I have same problem, but when i choose borderless window > apply and then full screen > apply, it makes it full screen.
