Frame drops despite specs being more than capable of 120FPS

What happens when the bug occurs? FPS drops to 10. Stays like that for several minutes. Then can return to normal and occur again. Very random. This bug is being reported on Reddis as well by others after the latest patch.
What should be happening instead? 120fps
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No way I can see to force the bug. Happens randomly. This is on a new Xbos Series X.

Bug happens randomly and causes the game to drop to 10fps. Xbox menu, etc is fine. Can even stay at 10fps after exiting the game and returning to Apex lobby. Have to restart game to fix it. 

Ever since the new update every single game of apex i play my frames will drop to 8-13 fps. It is literally unplayable. I go to restart my game and get abandonment penalty, -150 RP. I went from d1 to d4 in a day bc of this please help.

Has there been a fix yet? Please lmk xbox-imjakinho

Im on xbox series s and every single match at around 20 minutes/late game i will drop from 60 fps to 10, making it unplayable, this is really BUGging me if anybody could help out

My Apex keeps micro stuttering constantly when playing the game. I've capped my FPS, got it set to the lowest possible settings, messed around with all settings in nvidia control panel, watched as many youtube tutorials i could find, tried everything i could find on the apex answer hq and nothing has worked. Anyone know a potential fix that may help?

What happens when the bug occurs? I randomly drop to 10fps and will sometimes go back to 120, but i only go back for a min before dropping to 10 again. When i’m on 10 some of my inputs just won’t go through

After a recent update, on Xbox Series X, the game's frame rate will randomly drop to around 5-15 fps, as also shown by the performance display on the top right.

This drastic fps drop will occur after 20/30 minutes of the game running, and can happen everywhere from main menu to firing range or in battle.

The only way to get the 120 fps back is restarting the game.

The console is not overheating and runs any other game just fine. I know other people are experiencing this, so the problem is not my device.

nice job ea, its been a week and not a word to anybody having frames drop to 10 around the 30 minute mark every single match in apex. thank you so very much for putting forth your fullest effort!!!
