I think it is the CPU. My bet is the game freezes for some reason, then the disconnection comes because of that. I had some problems with CS:GO too. Not with disconnections but crashes because of multicore rendering. Maybe there is a launch param from source engine that we can try. I already tried with mat_queue_mode 0 (multicore rendering off) but no luck.

I have seen multiple people have the same issue with i7 6700HQ as well.
It does this same exact thing on the Intel Pentium G4400 if that helps at all. I have been seeing a lot on this with Intel and Amd. Definitely not the best processor but every other game is running maxed out in 1080p.
That system is with a g4400, rx580 and 8gb ddr4.
Pretty sure it's the whole 6xxx series of AMD cpus. I get the same issue with the 6100.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm running an AMD FX-6300 and a GTX 1050Ti, I usually hold steady at 60 frames but sometimes the game will just freeze for 10-20 seconds at random before returning to normal. Usually only happens once or twice per game at most.
I was wondering if we have an ETA on the fix for people with AMD 6300 CPUs? I have been trying everything to fix it with not progress. Do you have any tips or suggestions for when this will be fixed or what to try?
@SeaChanti Hi dude! So, this is probably gonna be fixed with an update, but if you ask me when... i don't know how to answer to you. All we have to do is wait, because those methods to "fix" the freeze/crash, they're not the best, and can bring bad performance to the game (lower fps)
