High ping to Singapore and Tokyo from Oceania (Perth)

For a couple of seasons now the ping to Singapore and Tokyo from Perth is stated as being 130 and 150 respectively from the server selector upon launch. But in game the ping is almost double (350-400) and the packet loss makes it unplayable. This was not always the case as I could play on these servers with 130 and 150 ping before the last couple of seasons. The only way I have found to mitigate this is by using a VPN to connect to a sydney server, then play on these servers with 150-180 ping. As I said it hasn't always been like this and would like to fix it but can't seem to find a way to create a support ticket. My ISP is Telstra.
