Me and my friend have been trying to change his name in apex legends we’ve tried several times but it never changes in game.

@EA_Barry Me and him both play on Xbox and tried to change it on our phones on the EA website will it make a difference if we are on our phones changing our names or do we have to be on A computer to do that?

@EA_Barry it doesn't work. My name is changed on EA Account, it shows correctly in the Origin app (I am a pc gamer) - but it still doesn't show up in Fifa 22!!! can you do anything right? come on, basic stuff...what do I do now? How do I force it to change?

same here, i changed it to 'montages' but in FIFA 22 it is the same as my old one, its very annoying.

Click Edit next to: Basic Information to update your EA ID, Display Name, Real Name, and Date of Birth. Email Address to update your email that we have on file. Regional Settings to update your country of residence or language. Type in the code we send you to confirm your identity, then change away!

I was in sort of the same boat, the only way for it to change in game is by logging into a pc and logging into the game through the origin browser. This was the excuse given to me. Its a poor one at that. I play on pc but used steam since i already have it installed and do not need another launcher on top of the 4 i have. Same with my name change, as well as buying game currency. Have to login through origin launcher to have the changes take effect.

I changed my name in ea but it doesn’t change in apex

@417111 if youre on pc you have to change your Steam name for it to change in game
