Ever since the Genesis update, my game has been having so many issues. The first of which is that, on opening, the game gets stuck at an incredibly long black loading screen for 5-6 minutes before an error pops up and takes me back to the title screen. Then I try to click play again and load in almost immediately. From there, just trying to click on anything on the menu from trying to switch game modes to trying to invite friends or even just viewing my legends has the potential to freeze the entire game and make it error back to title screen where the process starts again. Not to mention that when the game is actually running, it's running so much hotter than before. It's completely overloading my CPU and makes it so that I can barely run discord in the background. I have tried repairing game files, I've tried playing on both Origin and Steam, I've cleared my download cache, but nothing alleviates the problems. Hi, been trying to log in for over an hour now, tried 3 different steam accounts, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, downloaded on Origin to try on there too. Doesnt work. I seem to be stuck on an infinite load screen. All the files are verified sooo doesn't make sense. My total play time is like 8 mins total because this is all i've had when logging in.. not a great start for a new player really?Any info on how to get past this?

I'm surprised you can run the game at all with discord. If you have the discord overlay enabled, for me at least it made the game crash every single time. So, if you have that enabled I expect issues. And about the black loading screen, I had that on the day the update came out and it fixed itself within the same day and never happened again. To me it seemed like a server issue.

Sooooo.. this has been going on SINCE DAY ONE of the Genesis update... It's widespread and hasn't even been specifically acknowledged... The LOOONGGG loading times and net/wheel/leef/pin errors are just ridiculous now...There are missing textures all over the dang place...I've tried everything including clean windows install and the EA Dekstop and Steam launcher...neither of them are working correctly...The exact symptoms are... a long black loading screen with a spinning apex logo followed by a disconnect after about 5 minutes and random error...after hitting Continue a 2nd time, the game will go straight into lobby, however the game has audio hiccups and lag spikes...If i click Ready, the game freezes for a good 15 seconds or so before "readying up"...It allows me to play one game after this with normal load times, all subsequent games HANG HARD at the loading screens, resulting in me being loaded into a match about 2 minutes after start... My PC Specs are: Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB of DDR3200mhz G.Skill RAM, EVGA Geforce GTX 1060 GB...dxdiag.txt is attached....Please release some sort of statement about this issue, this is ridiculous...@Respawn @EA @PlayApex #SaveApex100Percent

@EA_Kent I saw a post somewhere where you asked for dxdiags and for people to try windows system file checker. I just couldnt find the original post.... SFC did NOT fix anything...

Since the start of the apex’s season 9 most recent event everytime I start up my game I get to the banner screen and try to enter the lobby I just get a permanent black loading screen. I have tried everything I can but even reinstalling the game hasn’t helped and I haven’t gotten to participate in the new revenant heirloom event or anything 😞 please help anything is appreciated

@EA_Barry None of these help... I have tried all of the above, including "immediately connecting again" as stated in the post you linked (see in my post where I said if I click continue again, it loads directly into lobby, has stutters and audio distortion, then subsequent games are a horrible experience, with absurd load times resulting with me being thrown into arena matches at almost the end of round 1) until finally my game crashes or I get another error...
