Login verification activated, but still not able to receive gifts

in order for my friend to gift to me, i need the login verification, after half an hour i got it, but on the game (apex legends) it did not say that i had it activated, and my friend basically couldn...

Hello @Hevar530,

in order for your friend to send you a gift, you don't need to have login verification on, but rather your friend. Here is a link to how Apex gifting works, including a list of all the requirements that someone gifting the other person needs to fulfil in order to be able to give a gift.

Let me know if it still doesn't work after.

@EA_Pythia I'm having a similar issue but I can't send gifts. It has a lock on the gift button and "login verification needed" but I have turned on the verification already for my account and even went into my ps5 browser and it shows verification is on but I still can't give gifts. can you please help me?

    Having exactly same issue .... Seems people will not be able to finish the necessary steps to get the anniversary skins because of this ..not good
