Low FPS with 2080Ti

I'm not sure if the engine or the maps has been optimized... It does kind run smooth sometimes, but in buildings and looking in general directions causes frame loss (like down to 20FPS frame loss). Even if the game is rendering the stuttering is real.

Another thing to note, I believe this happens when near players, either with bad connections or potato builds cause I had a teammate who died

I'm not sure if this game was built on  the Source2 / Titanfall Engine... but it doesn't seem to be. I get mass frames in Titanfall 2 in Single Player and Multiplayer. I swear a lot of new releases seem to be not optimized these days, but that's my bitcoin.

Please work towards that buttery smooth FPS guys, the game is great. Have a good one.

  • Hmm it should be good there because its nearing the 4K resolution.

If you wanna test out some higher resolutions follow this:

You can open your Nvidia control panel and open manage 3D settings and in global setting enable DSR factors and tick all of them to give you options (1.20x etc)

Now go to the change resolution section and you will have options to increase your resolution.

You can play with the resolutions above 4K see if they help.

Other than that just check your netwrok connection for any issues.

  • Just a note about RTX GPU's they are designed for higher resolutions like 4 or 8K.

If your running 1080p it can actually run poorly.

You can try mess with the scaling in the Nvidia control panel and run 4K while scaling it down to 1080p to resolve this.

But this is a theoretical fix as i do not have the card.

You technically could turn off AA as the scaling from 4K to 1080p would smooth the edges.
