That's definitely weird.
Do you have any other devices connected to your Xbox? If so, can you try disconnecting them all to test and see if that makes any difference?

Any news...mine is doing the same and it sucks that I ca not make call outs for help while playing.
Having the same issue on xbox series x. Mic has always worked until the last update. Game chat mic just stopped working. I am on Xbox Series X with Astro A40's wired to the xbox. No issues in Xbox party chat, so it seems to be Apex related. I like to solo queue, so when you have an update please post. Thanks!
Do y'all have any solutions at the moment? This is quite frustrating D:
People can hear me talk in the chat, but it speeds up my audio to the point that it is not understandable.
