So a quick update if anyone was interested.
I have been contacting EA for the last few days to get an answer on this subject and was told I would receive an email (never got one). I tried again today and was asked a load of ridiculous questions to begin with,but after playing their silly games for a while I made some progress and after confirming my account and name of the game I was greeted with this message:
"Thank you for sharing the name but I am unable to validate the claim due to which we will not be able to help you further. I would suggest you to report this on our EA forum through the link and you may receive an update for this from the EA officials/community managers. I really wish you get this resolved at the earliest. Here is the article : https://answers.ea.com/"
After asking how they could just steal people's money and give this awful level of support I received another message:
"Had it been possible from my end, I would have done it for you. I hope that you understand my limitation here. If there was any possible way to proceed with your request, I wouldn't have given a second thought here"
As you can imagine at this point I'm pretty mad. Basically been told to go F myself and they can't help me and won't even say why. So I asked and recieved this:
"I can totally understand the situation and as an avid player can truly determine your emotions for game and respect it too. I as an adviser never feel good at heart if the answer to any player has to be a 'no' but sometimes we are bound or held back by the unavailability of the options on our end."
How can this company be allowed to just ignore real requests when people are pouring their hard earn money into this game. I've got multiple heirlooms and prestige skins and have spent thousands and they can't even be bothered to not only address my issue, tell me why they won't address my issue. I have checked multiple times and never had anything new. No new skins or stickers or frames anywhere. I wanted to get the buster sword but held out waiting for this as I didn't want to loose anymore.
I will be reporting this to my countries trading standards, as this kind of practice is absolutely ridiculous and I'm no expert but sounds highly illegal. They'll happily take your money without a second thought but when you ask where your money has gone they don't wanna know. Its a shame after all this time but I think I'm done with apex after this. Absolute scumbags.
Have uploaded the screenshots too. I hope this gains traction and some kind of boycott can happen, because this is just not ok. Even the people who have had stuff added to their collections have just had their packs opened without consent. They didn't get the dopamine rush of opening the pack and hopefully seeing a mythic animation. They've made this event with these gambling methods and when you try and gamble they take it away from you? I've received nothing from these missing packs and they've just dissapeared into the ether. Hopefully nobody else has this same issue.
