after the update that came out a few hours ago i got the prompt that cross progression is available (this is on ps4), i pressed continue, it said please wait for a few minutes, then disappeared and nothing happened after that. am i actually able to activate cross progression or was the game just saying its a thing now?? kinda confusing.

Got the prompt on my PC (which would be my main) but didn't get any of my linked PS4 stuff. Turned on my PS4 and all my PC stuff overwrote my PS4 stuff. Everything I had on my PS4 previously is gone! All that is there is my PC stuff. Help?

If the prompt was shown in the main menu before you enter the lobby, then you should have cross progression.
It should have shown a window with any of the accounts you want to merge:
Do you have another accounts that have been already linked to your main EA Account?

I see.

So judging by what you're telling me, it seems that cross progression won't have any affect on you because you only have one account under your main EA Account.

If you had other accounts in your EA Profile, then it would take effect.

what i don't understand is, when i try linking my pc account it says its already linked under another ea account. when i signed into said ea account it shows nothing is linked. so i'm stuck on how i can fix that so i can get my ps4 progress moved over to pc.

@TheRedLion93 same thing happened to me. Didnt let me merge the accounts under the same email. Xbox and my PC account. said it wont take time but nothing happened after

Did you receive the prompt on the main menu and received the option to merge your accounts like the picture above?

Did you also unlink any platform accounts from another EA Profile and linked it to the one that is your main account?

I just opened my pc and i got the crossprogression annoucement pop up in the main menu. I pressed space and I was waiting to see my old level 400 something ps4 account on there but im still stuck with my newish pc account... I have my psn and steam account both linked to the same ea account but it still didnt work. Am I being dumb and missing something?

Same situation happened to me. I finally got the pop up but different from you, after not receiving the prompt after the pop up because I had two different ea accounts, I unlinked my old Xbox account to my PlayStation account which I want to be the main account to play on my main console which is now Xbox. I’ve lost the little progress I’ve had on Xbox because I unlinked and I am fine with that, but I’m again in this limbo where I have to wait to see if my PS account will actually merge or not…whole thing has been a very stress inducing mess for the entire community to say the very least.
