No Voice Chat in Lobby - PC - EA & Steam

I had this issue on the steam version from mid season 7, nobody can hear me in the lobby and I cannot hear them either. So i downloaded the EA version and everything was fine (if you ignore having to flush DNS everytime i restart the game). 

Now when the new season 8 patch drops the same thing is happening on the EA version. No voice for anyone in the lobby, but voice chat works fine in game. Very disappointing. No voice chat icons next to anyones name in lobby. 

The game totally corrupted during the patch process, so I had to repair and it redownloaded what seemed to be the whole game (30GB) so I doubt reinstalling is going to fix this issue. 

Everything was fine until the Season 8 patch. Any fixes for this?

    Hey there, 

    Is this happening when you're grouped up with people playing on different platforms, or is everyone else in your lobby also playing on PC?

    Both. Also, it magically fixed itself yesterday about 3 hours after I posted this. I didn't change anything at all, actually, I was playing a game with a friend and it wasn't working at first, then we got out of a game and all of a sudden it worked. 

    So, I guess you can mark this as fixed... even though there was no actual "fix".. xD

    This is a fun game, but it definitely has some voice chat bugs and sound bugs.... its not fun when the ring has no sound.... or enemies have no sound.... or gunfire has no sound.... 

    We wont even talk about tactical abilities just randomly falling through the ground... *cough* HORIZON....

    Hopefully this is taken as feedback and not me being a troll. Thanks for responding so quick!
