Yesterday I could run the game on any map in any mode at 250Fps consistently with 1% lows touching 230 FPS. But after the updated everything is cooked, looking 30 degrees down and towards the middle of the map (of any of the maps in rotation) pushed my fps down to 140 with the ultimate lows when im around water to 90 fps this is unplayable at the highest levels which I wanted to push for top 100 today. I have deleted shader cache, DDU my drivers and reinstalled, reset bios and only turned on XMP, repaired apex, downloaded apex on steam, checked for thermal throttling, even tried running the game in DX11. all this resulting in a slightly better performance 180fps - 220fps, but still dropping to 160 fps when looking in specific spots
Specs
I9-14900k, aorus z790 MB, Corsair titan 360 rx cooler, 32gb ddr5 6000 mhz, 850 w power supply, AMD 7900 xt 20 GB.
Luckly also ran into a dev named Sheepy in a mixtape, they said they would bring it up but if anyone has any solutions I am more then happy to give them a shot <3
Could this be something wrong with the performance update for AMD CPU's or an easy anti cheat issue?

interesting, just swapped my much better overall 7900 xt to my old 2080 super and im back at my 250 fps i think it may have to do with the drivers/the CPU "improvements" they made

People with high end Intel CPUs are having major performance issues. In last ring I'm getting as low as 60 fps when before the patch I would never drop below 240 fps. I'm assuming it has to do with what they did with High end AMD CPUs.

Same here. I'm getting massive drops mid fight at random times. From 165fps to less than 80. Is unplayable.
RTX 3080, i7 14770 64gb of ram and 1440p display.
It keeps happening mostly mid fight which makes fights unberable. I did see that sometimes the fps drops match ping spikes.Issue recorded:
Please ignore the **bleep** gameplay. I was paying more attention to the drops than anything else. I ended up leaving because teammates were always running away with no pings and framerate was trash

Hi, I have a similar setup as you and the only thing that is currently helping is turning off memory integrity in security settings, if you're using Windows 11.

This season is the biggest pile of **bleep** I’ve ever seen. The devs should be embarrassed by this giant hunk of **bleep**.

I've got i5-14600KF paired with 9060 XT 16GB, and i was getting 200-300 fps stable on any game mode. Now i get around 120-100fps max lol. This game sucks

I turned off Hyper-Threading Technology in Bios under tweaker then advanced cpu settings, all my frames have come back. this solution worked for me let me know if this doesn't work for you
