Ranked packet loss

Ever since the DDOS protection has been added it has been seriously ruining apex for me and hundreds of other players and it doesn't seem like EA even cares to fix it. I am fine up until my friend hit gold 2 and then the DDOS protection shows up and it never goes away. This has been an issue for almost an entire year now and no proof showing they are working on it has been shown anywhere. It seems like an xfinity issue because I have it and anybody else using that internet seems to be dealing with it as well. So I'm not sure how they made their game incompatible with wifi servers but it's crazy. I really want to enjoy this game and I have been a fan since it came out, but the lack of care for the people is insane. It's a stretch for asking but PLEASE. FIX. THIS. ISSUE!!!!! or remove DDOS protection until you fix it.
