Re: AMD Phenom Crash to Desktop after choosing training or matchmaking :(

Phenom processors were designed to run xp towards the end and barely run 7,  They were never built with the intentions of running current software and game engines.  The video cards today would be so severely bottle necked by the cpu youd litteraly be just doing it to see how bad it could be.  You can't fix what wasn't mean to work in the first place.

What in heaven's name are you talking about? Seriously? Jesus * Christ! AMD Phenom X6 + 1050Ti + 8 Gb RAM (yep, DDR3, yep, 1666 Mhz) can easily run most of the newest games (without stupid * instructions)! Check this config on youtube if you don't take it on trust! End of * discussion.

I don't really know, if I'm shocked, upset or sad about the response of EA yesterday.

Not only shows it the disrespect to everyone being active on this thread,

it basically shows it to all customers, which had, have or going to have technical problems or questions about their games.

I feel deeply insulted right now.

So far I avoided to jump on the hate train against Electronic Arts.

Yes, they made some bad decisions in the past regarding some

of their franchises (Battlefield, Command & Conquer, Medal of Honor etc.),

but I always atleast tried to refuse to accuse EA for everything that has happened.

I have to be honest here:

I've only bought Titanfall 1 because of Respawn Entertainment.

Yes, they also made some bad decisions with that game.

(no singleplayer but a mulitplayer "campaign", no dedicated servers etc.)

I still liked it, but sadly it died very quickly after launch.

Now with Apex Legends I was hoping for kind of a Fortnite "killer".

What I mean by that, I was hoping to get a Battle Royal, that I

    can actually enjoy to play.

Because of its gunplay, movement and some design decisions like the

possibility to bring back your dead squad mates.

In addition I like the idea of combining it with different heroes, called legends in this game.

The infinite ignorance now from EA with support of some wise guys, trying to insult the people on this thread, sometimes with bad and especially WRONG explanations, why Respawn shouldn't support these cpus, is more than insulting to everybody in the pc community.

Yes, there always were requirements for pc games in the past.

But the big difference is one thing:

We were able to install, start and TEST the games on our pcs,

even if they didn't meet the minimum requirements.

There is a reason, we are playing on pcs.

We can adjust, tweak and if necessary sometimes overclock our hardware, so it still can run some demanding games.

Apex Legends is not one of those demanding games.

Just give us the ability to try it out ourselves instead

of shutting us down because of missing instruction sets!

That's one of the benefits of computers!

    That's it for now..

Thank you all, who support this thread!
