I have followed the steps in the link you provided. I have since gotten this error an additional time.

Sorry I didn't tag the previous time, but I JUST got kicked again within 5 minutes of writing this.
Just trying to hit 110 on the battlepass before the season ends, and it's becoming increasingly difficult with all the bugs and crashes.
- @MalekTheGrand hello. To help break it down even further, these are also some of other troubleshooting steps you can take.
Sys File:
The sys file that is located inside the Easy Anti-Cheat folder might be stopping it from creating another file. The creation of this file is necessary as it contains launch data. So if it can’t be created, the game won’t launch. Delete it from the Anti cheat folder and run Apex like normal.
Anti-Virus:
An over-enthusiastic anti-virus can block Easy Anti-Cheat from doing its job, by preventing it from accessing the internet. If it can’t communicate with the game, the game won’t launch. Allow Origin Client, EA Client, Steam Launcher, & Easy Anti Cheat Exceptions to your firewall. NOT R5Apex.exe
Damaged files:
If the game files have become corrupted, or some components are missing, this can also trigger this error. Easy Anti-Cheat needs to verify all the game files before the game can launch. Simply find EAC and open the program and hit repair, then Run Apex normally. turning off anti virus worked for me ^
@Tradables For clarification, the game opens fine. I get kicked in the middle of matches with this error.
That being said, I have made exceptions in the firewall for the processes that you mentioned. I have not been kicked since (though whether that is luck or a permanent solution remains to be seen). Regardless, thank you.
This does not, however, solve the crashing in character select. From what I can tell on that, it seems to happen as I mouse over characters, and they're always blocky and composed of maybe 10 polys total as it freezes. That may be a system issue, but it wasn't an issue before S13. If you have any advice for that as well, I'd be VERY happy to hear it. ♥New season drops and enjoying Vantage, but still getting this error.
So I just got the error AGAIN, and my duo also got kicked with a different error. Difference is that she's able to rejoin the match immediately, but I get booted from the match and held in lobby as if we got squad wiped.
I have had the same problem since patch 13.1. I have already tried several things and nothing, I have contacted EA and neither and it is only with Apex because other games with Easy Anti-cheat Does not occur. It is a pity that EA does not investigate this problem because I know that there have already been bans and it is said that the error occurs when there are micro crashes on the server
- @grillo2403 Hey! turns out we're not the only ones, either and people are ending up BANNED because of this! Just read the first post that comes up in the vid and that's almost exactly what's happening to me, but during matches.

Everything will be going fine, and then for some reason the game freezes, and it sends me back to the main screen. An error comes up and says something along the lines of "Failed ____ anti-cheat exception_____" I don't remember what it says. The more annoying thing is this kicks me out of the game I am in, and then gives me a leaver penalty and then I don't get any LP for the kills/placement/etc. Is there some system that checks and just kicks people out of the games they are in, because this is ridiculous?

Well great news. It happened again today. At least this time I was able to screenshot what the error is. "The client failed an anti-cheat runtime integrity check: Connection timed out." Can someone please let me know what this means?
- @MalekTheGrand Hello. I know that it has been about a year since you had this problem apparently but I keep getting kicked out of matches too. I think I have the same problem as you, but I already disabled my computer's anti-virus completely. Do you have any other ideas I may try?
No one said the game would NOT run, we are all getting kicked from the games MID game!!!! this never happened before, started midway season 18 and continues to this day. In addition the new Post Malone LTM changes your FOV, and sets adaptive resolution to 59 constantly during the game mode, it does not do that during the regular modes.
Its getting very irritating... your tyna tell us all of a sudden all our files are corrupt or have "overactive" virus apps? please, always the easy way out for EA on answers. fix the darn game!tried that!

Sooo, I encountered the same problem a few days ago and stumbled over this thread....
I read through all your guys messages and sadly found no solution.
So I tried myself...
Instead of deleting anything, I simply went to the games directory and opened the EasyAntiCheat folder
D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\EasyAntiCheatI have it via EA Play (Origin) idk if that matters
I just ran the Setup in that folder and it led me through a repair setup where I could select Apex
Also I simply checked the game files integrity
It´s fixxed...
I hope for all of you, that you will manage to fix your game, or EA will 😠
