Re: FPS_MAX command

Hey all,

I'm sure a lot of you are having similar issues/questions but I thought I'd throw this up on the forum just to get another conversation going. As you all know, the newest patch did away with a lot of the autoexec/commands that you can utilize in game. I'm 95% okay with the changes, but the one that doesn't make any sense is eliminating the ability to use the fps_max to cap fps. I've tried adaptive resolution and the various vsync options but the input lag is not ideal (I can't bunny hop that well but that was another silly change imo).

Any other alternatives here? Is the input lag for adaptive res/vsync really that bad or is it in my head? Would something like rivatuna accomplish the same thing as fps_max? Almost every game i've played has had some sort of fps cap built in....or the ability to add the command in launch options to cap. What gives?
