Re: PC ban affects console after Cross Progression

I am facing the same issue. Don't know when they fix it

  • I have the same problem. I always solely played on PSN. After the cross progression I'm unable to find matches and it seems like my EA acc. got banned on Oct. 28th (i never even downloaded apex on my laptop)

  • @everyone :

    - Gather as much information as you can! Take screenshots of everything. The date of your ban, your linked accounts, when you logged in last time on PC. Do not send appeals without all the info

    This is clearly a technical problem but until they even recognize it or decide to fix it it may be a long time that passes.

    So if you do the appeal make sure it has crystal clear information in it.

    - Go on Twitter, reddit, write your fav Content Creators, write the Devs, anything.  until someone notices the problem.

    It was clearly stated that your Console Account would not be affected through Cross progression.

    Something carried over that shouldnt have. Its probably easy to fix if anyone will look into it. But you got to raise awareness.

    Unfortunately no one of the EA Answers team has said a word here yet, but i do hope they see this and inform the tech team.

    Its also understandable with everything thats been happening with Cross Progression that they are just overwhelmed with everything so we got to cut them some slack.

    I will continue to inform everyone in here as soon as i got more information. <3

    @ChaosGoddess_xo I have the same problem. It shows October 28 as banned, but I was last able to play 1 week ago. Is there anyone who can solve this error?

    Another one to add to the list here, not me but my duo. PS4, inactive steam account banned on the 28th; results in unability to find a match ever since cross progression hit for them on the last wave of deployment

  • I have to wait for an answer. it might take a couple of days. Once I hear back from them with good news i will give detailed information to everyone. If its bad news then i will still inform you guys.

    PS: make sure yall click the Me too my first post. the more the better it will catch their eye.

    @ChaosGoddess_xo There is no such thing, I found the problem completely, I looked at the mistakes one by one, those who cheat on the computer are also banned from their console accounts, log in from your EA account and you will see that it is banned on October 28th.3

    im play PS5 id YTOmerDmN We're sorry, your account has been permanently closed, an email arrived, no access anymore, all that effort and money wasted, it's not worth the hassle.

    @ChaosGoddess_xo Don't bother, brother, I've been trying for 3 days, but unfortunately it doesn't work, they keep giving such an answer.
  • @gtdmnmusic Yes everyone here has that same problem/glitch.
    And what you got was the standard answer. They do not understand the real problem so far.
    Do not bomb them wit appeals, Thats why i said that earlier. We need more information, and i need a couple of more days to verify

    @ChaosGoddess_xo I assume you're heading up this Task Force and gathering all the information to appeal on our behalf? Let me know if you need anything else to push forward.

    @ChaosGoddess_xo Thanks! Hopefully, someone from the EA team will see this or is aware of the issue already and will provide some assistance in the matter.

    @ChaosGoddess_xo The situation is very simple, since the account mixing integration came, PC players were previously banned by cheating due to account transfers, and we connected the accounts on the console to the computer like idiots and logged in hoping to see if my account was opened on the computer, but we were banned with the newly opened computer account, so when the account transfer came, we connected it to the computer from our console account. It was automatically banned and there will never be a return, we all know that, so we are the victims.

    I did a lot of research, twitter, instagram, youtube, mail, ea site, I sent e-mails everywhere, I wrote and wrote an article in the discord group, but unfortunately no one responds, no one cares, I think we have found a way, I can't play Apex Legends anymore because all my levels are last and in every rank match, my rank was master predator. My character has 30,000 kills and heirlom skins, characters, special items, my money, coins and many rare items. I have been playing this game on PlayStation since season 1 with effort, but unfortunately, our account was banned because of this ridiculous incident and there will be no return, we have to accept this now, we have to look for a new game for ourselves. I personally cannot go back to the old game, it can never be like my old account. I lost everything is over

    I'm bored and tired of looking at this site every time and waiting to see if positive messages will come. When a person is victimized and feels justified and cannot express himself, he gets very upset. I am one of them. You cannot express yourself. There is no one to explain your problem to me. I do not know English very well. I use a translation program. But I wish I could explain my problem to someone and I really want this person to listen to me and make a decision accordingly, but the fact that he sends me an e-mail and automatically answers the decision makes me sad. They do this without even listening and understanding. I am a victim and we are all victims.

    I have sent them bulletproof evidence that i have not logged into Steam in two years , never logged into the EA App. i took screenshots of all my Accounts, my LogIN's,  this was absolutely obvious and undeniable proof and all they said was 

    We have received your latest message regarding the action that has been taken against your account. We have done all the research possible on this topic and will not change the decision we have made.
    
    Please do not wait for further responses on this matter.

    Thats all, They didnt even look at the screenshots that clearly proof without a doubt that i didnt touch Apex on PC in so many years. while that fake ban says October 2023.

    This is arbitrariness!

    No word about our console Account being ghostbanned while the FAQ and multiple EA people stated this would NOT happen. IT DID HAPPEN . And NO ONE does anything about it. 

    I have been  playing Apex on PlayStation since Season 2, i have 4000 hours into that game and now its useless. This is disheartening 😭
