Register - Apex requires an EA Account to Play

Ever since the servers "went down" when I try to log in and play I get

Apex requires an EA Account to play. Click here to log in or create an account.

When I click on it I get :

There's been a error - Your EA credentials may have expired. please try again or reset your password.

I have changed my password multiple times, resigned in through steam, deleted and redownloaded the game and nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?
