I have not experienced this before. I was just reset from silver 4 to bronze 4. I am a newer player. I know that this has happened in the past but cannot find a definitive post about a solution. I am on PS5.

Hey so it’s been like a week of the new season I got to plat last night and was playing today. I got off for like a hour waiting for the map to change and when I get back on I’m back to my starting rank of the season (silver 2)
I’ve closed the app a few times in disbelief but it still stays silver 2.

Rank just reset for the second time this season why?! I was gold 2 now I’m silver four after one match how does that work?

Yeah I was plat 3 now I’m silver 1 unsure wether I should get back to grinding or not

What just happened to the game? I played ranked apex yesterday and reached Silver. And now I'm back to bronze 4 with 0 RP and 3/3 demotion protection.
