- 5 years ago@TTV_infusey not to further be of annoyance but some other things you can try:
-update windows to version 19042 if you havent already
-install intel driver and support assistant and check if you are running latest driver for your motherboard
-run cmd and enter sfc /scannow
-disable xmp profile and run standard intel 2666mhz ram speed (enable it back if it doesnt change anything)
-make sure windows energy plan is set to high performance you can also try the plan balanced.. nevertheless there is an option on max cpu usage.. maybe you can limit it to 98% or set a min max like 0-80%
-try changing windows processor scheduling discussed in this article:
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/best-performance-for-programs-or-background-services
to aliviate the cpu usage a bit you can:
-lower polling rate/dpi on mouse and keyboard
-lower the sample rate of your audio device to 44khz/16bit
revert any changes that dont work and just wait till a patch comes from respawn.. there's too many players experiencing this issue - 5 years ago@TTV_infusey also found a comment which is interesting.. take a read if you have time

- 5 years ago@Konform103 "The first thing I did was to disable something in Windows called Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. You can find this in newer versions of Windows 10 by right clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display Settings". Scroll to the bottom and select "Graphics settings". Select the toggle to "Off" and it usually asks you to restart your computer. The next setting I turned off is the "Game Mode" which you can find by going into "Settings" > "Gaming" > "Game Mode" on the left hand side. The third setting I turned off is "Background recording". This can be found in "Settings" > "Gaming" > "Captures" on the left hand side > "Record in the background while I'm playing a game". The last tweak that I made for Apex is to set "Launch Options" with +fps_max 144. I play on a 240Hz monitor and doing this significantly reduces CPU usage and prolongs gameplay reducing the chance of freezing. I've tried having the setting on NVIDIA's control panel to set max FPS to 144 but that doesn't reduce CPU usage as much as having this command in Steam's launch options. I believe it works the same in Origin's launcher. The downside is that since it's capped to 144 it feels kinda awkward. I don't know if it's input lag or doing this introduces some sort of latency or visible tearing but doing all of this I was able to play for a long while and haven't frozen yet. I had to adjust to it feeling different. Without these tweaks, I would freeze once or twice per game during anything. Hope this helps some of us until the Apex team fixes this issue in its entirety."
I tried this all steps anyway it's random crashes it can be 2 times in a row in 2 minutes or i can play 1 game like 30 minutes without crashes so it's randmoly going

-make sure windows energy plan is set to high performance you can also try the plan balanced.. nevertheless there is an option on max cpu usage.. maybe you can limit it to 98% or set a min max like 0-80%
