Steam version Apex Legends unable to report (occationally) game gets buggy

when i try report someone from apex legends steam version and after choosing which section you want to report with it just switch over to steam overlay and game gets buggy just goes straight to steam overlay instead of reporting and after the game if you go previous members and go through the profil report this happens (as the picture) where it says that happens then the gave actually gets buggy if you enter any game some mechanics starts to mailfunction like Rampage weapon cant charge with fire granade and visual stuff like watching teammates play while your dead their aim is through the weapon not the scope but you can see the scope above the weapon you just see through inbetween

    @sithqifon I recently switch to steam, and I've not encountered any issues like this.
    I'd advise you to verify your game files and maybe turn off the steam overlay, at least just to see if it was the cause of the issue.

    • Rightclick on Apex Legends in your Steam Library -> Click on Properties -> Go to the tab Local files -> Click on verify integrity of game files...
    • Rightclick on Apex Legends in your Steam Library -> Click on Properties -> Go to the tab General -> Untick Enable the steam overlay while in-game

    update: disabled steam overlay to see if it should be fixed still happens.

    says for you to report steam overlay must be turned on.
