Unlinking my apex account from old ea account to new one

I need help. My account is connected to an old ea account that I need to transfer to my new one. I don’t have access to that email due to it being from highschool. I logged into my PlayStation on a friends console and got my stuff but I need to transfer it to my new Xbox. My phone number is connected and I still have the same one, is there a way we can verify with my phone number instead of email?

    Thanks for reaching out!

Apex progress/cosmetics are stored on the EA account your platform account is linked to — not on the console/device itself. To have your original PlayStation progress appear on your Xbox, your Xbox account needs to be linked to the same EA account that currently holds your Apex progress.

Just to set expectations: Apex progress can’t be transferred from one EA account to a different EA account. The correct path is to regain access to the old EA account (the one your PlayStation progress is on) and then link your Xbox to that EA account. You can mention that you still have the same phone number. Support may be able to use alternate verification methods (phone number, platform IDs, receipts, etc.), but that verification is handled by EA Help.

Since you no longer have access to the old email, you’ll need EA Help to assist with account recovery / updating the email on that old EA account.

Here’s how to update your EA account info once you’ve regained access, and the article about Apex Legends™ Cross Progression.

When I tried they told me they couldn’t do any other verification method. Either email or the old console that I used to have 2 years ago. I don’t understand how you have a “recovery” method but can’t recover an account by just changing the email for me. There is a lot of money on the EA account and when I ask for extra help they just end the chat in my face. I need this solved asap

    Hi Tmoney9140 ,

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with that, and I understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you’ve already tried reaching out for help and still can’t regain access.

Have you tried using the webform to submit a request and address the issue?
