Using Radeon VSR (Virtual Super Resolution)

Hi there!

I want to run Apex in higher resolution because of neither lack of static screen scale nor nice antialiasing in this game (msaa so blurry even with adaptive screen scale). A lot of games have same options, not this one.

I tried hardly to enable VSR toggle inside radeon settings, but higher resolutions still not accesseble in game settings. This works in myriad of games like overwatch, COD BO 4, Battlefield 4 and others.

Also good to mention that i have ability to override antialiasing settings inside Radeon control panel and or works in any game, except Apex.

P.s. tested in 3 different versions of Radeon drivers

  • Hey I haven't tested it as I crash too often to bother playing half the time have you not tried the Adaptive Super Sampling? Set TSAA on then you can turn it on. You can also override force in amd drivers adaptive msaa on top of that again.
  • @KAPITAN_MOZAMBIK First thing you need to do is go to display settings then advanced monitor settings and click on the profiles and it should show you all available resolutions. Lmk if this helps.
  • @TTVDayman91 Thank you! As long as I set the desktop at 4k BEFORE I open Apex, it will consider that native resolution and I can choose all options.
