Virginia servers not available and input lag

It looks like the Virginia datacenter should be available from what I can see. Which platform do you play on?

So Respawn we not gonna speak on these servers? Like how the ping on them is well above 200 and bottom of the list now? The one server that ive always been placed on is now fubared. No mentions of it either. This should not be a thing where the company cant even speak on a broken server or find fixes for it. 

Yes, I live in southern WV and have played on Virginia 1 and 2 since April of 2019 when I first started playing apex with 21-40ms range ping on average and then all of a sudden, 3 days ago, Virginia 1 shows 800+ ping and 50% + packet loss, and Virginia 2 was negative 1 ping, not even letting me use that server. Now, both servers have had a negative 1 ping and will not allow me to play on either one as of at least 2 days straight , it also usually shows that Iowa GCE-1 through 4 always has better ping but in game latency is always higher than new york, virginia, ECT. (Obviously because I am closer to those locations). You're not alone here man. It's a problem on their end and it's extremely frustrating being forced into specific servers that give other players a major advantage, so it seems anyways. I have great 1 GB internet, only my ps4 pro is connected directly to the router as it is also the only unit that uses my home internet , I also never lag or bog way down in speeds so it cannot be my end. EA representative told another customer that they know of the problem and are currently working on it. This really prevented me from even thinking about spending much money on this event, but not everyone is having this experience clearly. 

I usually play on the Virginia servers (they're closest to me, I usually have a 15-25 ping), and all of a sudden they've gone to being -1 ping and 100 packet loss. Has something happened to them that I'm not aware of?

I live in DE and the closest server is Virginia where I would normally get 13-16 ping but for the last two weeks both Virginia 1 and Virginia 2 have been down and I’m stuck playing on New York which is at 40 ping can I get an answer as to why there is an issue or if you guys have shut them down please and thank you for all the hard work y’all do

Have you had the chance to try setting a different DNS on your PS4 to see if that helps at all? I've seen cases in the past where using a different DNS can help with issues like this. To change the DNS on your console following the steps below: 

1. Go to the Settings on your PS4 and select Network

2. Select Set Up Internet Connection

3. Choose WiFi or LAN Cable depending on what type of connection you're using

4. Select IP Address Settings (automatic)

5. Select DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use)

6. Choose DNS Settings (Manual)

7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well. 

8. Select MTU Settings (Automatic)

9. Choose Proxy Server (Do Not Use)

10. Select Test Internet Connection

Yes I change my dns servers and IP address every single day multiple times a day, between google and cloud flare, like I said, not a problem on my end as several people aren't able to use the virginia servers as well. I worked in tech support for almost 2 years so I am very aware of the basics of configuring combinations of different IP and DNS servers. Completely way off base with your answer, a Domain Name Server will never exclude you from accessing a specific server when all other servers using the exact same DNS and IP work perfectly fine. It is literally a translator of computer language. 

Where did the Virginia 1 and 2 servers go on xbox?
