Your accounts can t be linked because already linked to your EA Account

I am trying to play Apex on my new xbox...when I try and sign in with my gamer tag it just sends me to reset my password which I do....but then I get the following error Your ac...

@3d13c430ed1ed9e5 If you know the email that is connected to your account you should be able to recover it. The same thing happened to me. My account was disabled but I wasn't able to recover it. I had to make a new EA account and then unlink my Xbox from the old account to the new one.

Unfortunately, when I did that it caused a major bug that locks you out of everything on the main menu. EA has said they are working on a fix but no release date has been announced yet.
