FPS drops on PS5 when using the Catalyst ability

I wanted to report a performance issue I've noticed while playing Apex Legends on PlayStation 5.

I'm playing the PS5 version with 60 FPS mode enabled, but when I approach Catalyst's ability (especially when it's active on screen), the performance drops significantly. At those times, the FPS falls to approximately 30–40, which is very noticeable and affects the smoothness of the game during matches.

The problem occurs consistently and seems to be directly related to the visual effects of Catalyst's ability, as the game runs smoothly at 60 FPS the rest of the time.

I wanted to let you know in case this issue can be addressed or fixed in future updates.
