@zbran1I'm not finding * now look for it yourselves.
in fairness, I did say I worded it incorrectly to whit I edited it.
there was a report that said that an average of 5% of players from across each platform had requested a refund due to the game being broken and unfinished (PSN, Xbox, Steam, Microsoft Epic, Origin that's only an average of 5% per platform) 6x5 is 30 its not that difficult, to work out.
Remember school and that lesson with those funny shaped letters, well they were numbers, and that was a Maths lesson.Lolololol.
It doesn't work like that.
5% is 5% you don't multiple 5% by how many platforms there are and come up with 30%.
You are terrible at maths kiddo.
Let's take 4.23 million retail sales and that's not including digital sales which are possibly larger.
5% of 4.23 million is 211,500
I must admit I find that figure hard to believe but who knows.
Though without your mysterious link to the source we will have to take your word for it. But unfortunately for you we aren't going to take a hater on his word.
We need the source buddy.
- BtheReaper494 years agoSeasoned Veteran@CantGetRight Ummmm because we love Battlefield and we express our views so we get a better game. Not one that is as pathetic as this. I'm willing to give each game a chance. Heck I even suffered through BF5 for a time. But if you're happy playing a game made by a company that is more obsessed with Specialists and skins rather than delivering an actual quality product to its consumers then the joke is on you.

@BizzyVapingThat's impressive. So EA got a bunch of sales from people who wanted to try the game, but didn't have EA play for the 10 hour trial most likely, but then couldn't get refunds after their buyer remorse. How about giving us the player retention rates after 2 weeks? I'll bet they're less than impressive.
- @BizzyVaping Good marketing. Promoted a game totally different. Gave both casuals hype materials and the fans hype materials.
We'll see how this curve will look after a couple of quarters.it'll flatten. - loveubf4 years agoSeasoned Ace@BizzyVaping Wonder how many got refunded?
@loveubfIm sure we will find out eventually
According to their financial report to investors CDProject Red only ended up having to refund 30K out of 13 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077 in spite of all the hate that game got on release and the fact that everyone was offered a refund regardless of time played with no questions asked
I really can't see 2042 having had more refunds than Cyberpunk.
Reality and what you see on forums, youtube comments and gaming media are often two different things and it usually doesn't reflect the feelings of the general public- zbran14 years agoRising Veteran

The vast majority of players will get up go to work/school or whatever, and maybe turn the game on for an hour or two. It would never even cross their minds to come onto a forum to complain about the game. The reason for that is... now haters please sit down and grab your brown paper bag.. They are enjoying it. 😱

Probably .01 percent of those sales are the ones on these forums hating on the game while the other percentage of people are actually playing the game.
Oh right of course so many people love the game couldn't you tell by the steam reviews
wish there was a representative statistic, how many of the buyers are happy or not happy with the purchase....that would be devastating im sure

Steam reviews? Ohh yes that's a great representation of what people actually think🙄🙄🙄
