Has anyone else noticed a rise in hackers? Over the past few days i have been noticing a few more hackers in the game. Mostly aimbots as their kills are huge As soon as they become a huge problem ...

hopefully now that vince is in charge they may use an anti cheat that works
As long as its not a kernel level with ring 0 access as that is way too risky
I dont think dice or EA are even interested what happens in this game now cos they've gave up with it
This woke outlook has to stop, no stats so that it doesnt offend anyone or make them feel left out
Even the final game screen shows crap like most revives or captures instead of kill etc
It wont be long till they stop kills and make it a telling off for enemies, with sayings like "you are naughty"
If i wanted that i would go and play a kids game, this is an 18 plus game
Guns will be removed and foam sticks added so no one gets hurt

@sirusvirus1While I understand the worries about kernel-level AC, I think it is impossible to avoid using kernel-level AC-systems, if you really want something that works.
I don't think cheaters are afraid of running cheat-programs in kernel-mode (these people are stupid and do anything to cheat) and you probably need the same level of access to fight it.
In reality, putting AC in antivirus-programs (or the OS-itself), would probably be the best way of fighting cheats. Antivirus, while not perfect, are still the best way of finding 'unwanted' programs and while many hate MS, getting them to help fight cheating would help (I think MS does a better than job than EA in general).
Even kernel-mode anti-cheat doesn't stop cheaters. The only way is locked bootloaders in cooperation with hardware and os manufacturers. In other words, a console.
@DigitalHypeVirtualization is another way of doing things, but it often comes with a performance-hit that is unacceptable.
And we will probably never stop cheaters 100%, for now, we can only make it as hard as possible for them.
EAC is still a big improvement compared to older titles though...- @cso7777 The performance hit in virtualization is insignificant. A virtualized systems waits for user input as good as a bare metal instance.
Most performance hits in virtualization happen when you over provision your hardware with multiple instances.
Or do you speak about emulated systems. That is something totally different.
The issue is, virtualization only helps you, when the whole system runs encrypted, that first requires hardware, that directly supports encryption.
And this does has an impact.
But what is the worse part, you need to have developers have to deal with encryption, and that is a totally different skill set.
Adding encryption to the net streams may solve many issues.
But this all can't address the input manipulation which most likely happens with smart controllers for consoles.
