It always becomes worse before it becomes better.
After BF1 and BFV, this was the easiest slam dunk they could've had. Add the plus system and portal, then remake BF3/4 with some new weapons, vehicles, and some destruction and levolution.

I have full confidence that EA/Dice can dig deeper than we are now before this " up hill battle " starts.

Just play battlebit next month…. It’s by far and away a far superior game

I don't really take in consideration the speculations and rumours coming from any other people, i rather build my own opinion.
They did a good job on previous installments of their games, they wont leave this game dead, it's most likely from them to correct a game, just like they did in Battlefront 2.
To me this game is fun, i spend my hours in it, it is true that some things are missing and some things need a complete rework.
But anyway this is a trend from devs to release games being betas, and i don't think it will change, even other franchises are doing the same. We buy, we test it.
Blame is on consumers building expectatives, prepurchases and bashing the game for not liking X% of their playerbase.
Blame is on devs for taking us for fools.
Don't prepurchase.
Don't listen to influencers.
When consumers achieve these 2 easy steps, then we will get decent games.

It's frustrating because there weren't any lessons needing to be learned. They already had a winning formula. They were already filling the large scale casual shooter niche that no other game was even attempting to fill. All they had to do was build on their previous games. Develop and refine the features they already had in place after literal decades developing them. There is no rational reason that 2042 ended up the way it did but they chose to throw away decades of experience and development with nothing to offer as replacement.
But we have a tornado that has no effect on the battlefield I guess.

They will have to make the next one F2P from the beginning because if they expect any kind of pre-order sales, they are going to be sorely disappointed.
