I really think we will customized your own avatar for each class, look the trailer, it have more than 10 skins shown, so i'm not too worried with specialists skins. Really think we do see brenda as gameplay options (ex: run faster and shoot faster and maybe unlock more for this class). Ingame we will see our tag so brendo totally disappear with skins and tag 🙂.
But be patient we will see more soon as the multi gameplay video.
I think the character name and backstory are mainly there for marketing and social like how they made mini vids for the elite's in BFV. BFV's main characters were all the same faces too so it's not much difference but you should be able to tell what the enemies perk is at a glance.
I'm wondering how they'll let you change character on the respawn screen, it could be that you will have presets and set them up look wise before hand or just the generic pics of characters and you'll probably ignore the character name and just know which 1 has the perk you want. Unless they've still divy'd them out by class. Also the pre-purchase options suggest they have skins for character and guns and gun tags and in this game full masks would actually make sense so you can probably hide their faces.
What I want to know is how the guns/gadgets/grenades will work with specialities and the in game radial attachments options for guns and how many we can have at once, and whether not having clearly defined classes means ammo has changed, bigger maps too may mean you don't want to rely on players for supplies as much. They also mentioned multiple ammo options so I wondered if that meant armour.
Sounded like there's a bunch of in game unlocks too so you may not have to wait for chapters for cosmetic changes, and hopefully no annoying assignments that mean every1 has to use the same character.
