It's there in the menu as an option to choose but I've tested it in the portal aim trainer and it doesn't work at all. I'm sorry but someone using a controller on pc needs all the aim assist options they can take to be able to compete against mnk players. The lack of it is killing my enjoyment of the game.

As a pc player aim assist don’t really bother me but there’s a definite snap to some guns and I have noticed a good amount of my deaths from console players are headshot deaths!

@CofranOPC And input based matchmaking....it's obviously doable and it makes fairer games.

@LionHeadM16 if Dice doesn't do something to address the controller vs mnk discrepancy this will be the last BF game I'll play. I've been playing BF since PC BF1942.They have three options.1: Fix the aim assit so it actually works.2: Crossplay is only console vs console by defualt. Crossplay with PC must be manually selected.3: input based match making.I challange the devs to post a video of aim assit working on next gen console during matchs with a variety of sights and guns. My gut feeling is the devs who would even play this game in their free time are only playing PC.

Again in the beta. And its still not fixed these days here 6+ months after product launch...

I'm going to say the exact same thing many of you said in another topic... and I quote: "IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH MNK, THEN BUY A PC"well now I say:"IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH CONTROLLER, BUY A PS5"same crappy argument when many of us want to play with KBM on consoles and DICE HAS HAD NO RESPONSE AT ALLSo now... go cry to your mama....

@LionHeadM16 hasn't worked on console since launch. Don't expect it to ever be fixed. KBM players who've never used a controller will of course cry that aim assist is overpowered though.

Agree. PC Controller settings are all jacked up. From sensitivity, to aim assist, to the fact that your settings between Mouse and Controller are not separate and are tied together between Controller and Mouse/Keyboard menus. The Controller implementation on PC is horrendous and I'm shocked it hasn't been fixed yet. I've pointed it out several times, no CM's have even acknowledged. @PapaDrach I wonder how many other people are being put off playing because they know its basically pointless unless they use mouse and keyboard 🤔

@PapaDrach I assume it turned off on PC to eliminate faking controller. Otherwise it might be kbnm on top of aim assist. Other thing might be Easy Anticheat can't work with aim assist and consider that as an aimbot.

@LlamaWithKatana Then they shouldn't give you the ability to play with a controller on pc.....or simply code it to only allow aim assist on mnk if both are connected....we are talking about a multi billion dollar triple a studio here lol.

@LionHeadM16 There is no need to forbid it either. It is just not as convinient as kbnm or on consoles. Just to exclude it because it lacks one feature - why and for whom? There are people who play with controller but switch AA off (I remember those in BF V) so at least for them it is worth to keep the posibility as it consts nothing.

@emerson1975 I'm talking about snapping to an object to assist with acquisition....is that what you're talking about? Because I'm using an xbox one controller and I get zero snap assist and just aim slowdown.
