Me and my brother uses the game sharing method for PS5 in our house and we are now planning to preorder BF2042, our question is:If we preorder the gold or ultimate edition, will we both be able to benefit the “Year 1 pass” where you get 4 battle passes etc or will just the account we buy the game from get the “Year 1 pass” and the other account just a standard version of BF2042?Best regards

@DirtyKrykov You both will be able to play it but I am 99% sure the BattlePasses and other cosmetics from the Gold and Ultimate editions will only be available for the account that buys it.

@DirtyKrykov @Jesse165is correct here.

If you link both games to the same EA account, they will share progression and unlocks.

However it is only one account, not multiple.

Hey @DirtyKrykov both you and your brother will be able to play the game but only the PSN that made the purchase will receive the extras/bonuses

@carsono311 Sorry but you can't have 2 PSN Accounts linked to 1 EA Account. This is not how Cross-Progression will work..

Cross-Progression will work between Platforms, not on multiple Accounts on 1 Platform. 🙂

@WindowsManTv_CZE That is actually false about multiple PSN accounts not being able to be linked to a single Origin account. I have several PSN accounts linked to my Origin account (see screenshot below). Now whether cross progression will work with multiple PSN accounts is another question entirely. My gut says no but we'll have to see

I know it worked with BF3/BF4 but try it in BF1 and BFV. There is no other option to link another PSN to 1 EA Account.. Or, Am I Blind and Im missing something.? :D
