@alucardgrBattlelog was pretty nice and will be missed, but it's not coming back.
Hardcore mode will likely be available in BF2042 since it is easily implemented, we just have not heard yet.
I am not a fan of bigger squads really. I already hate the random spawn bombs that can happen as you are trying to take out an enemy squad and having larger squads will only make that worse.

If squads become large it makes it really difficult to wipeout the entire squad, especially when any squad member can be used as a respawn point.
- @OskooI_007 "Squad leader spawn only" pretty much addresses this issue, unless you are the squad leader, but then you are doing it wrong, when you try to take out another squad on your own.
- @kregora Even if that were an in-place feature, it would still not prevent a squad bomb, which would just increase by 50% with a 6-man squad...
The only thing that has really worked is the "in-combat" spawn prevention and it's constraints are seemingly quite narrow... just don't shoot or get shot at for a little bit of time...
Also, there are many, many, MANY instances of people soloing squads whether they are PTFO or not.
