Yeah which only a few will know you can turn it off which means playing bots, so why would anyone pay full price to play either with (aim)bots or just bots? Apex is the best solution, the PC has to many advantages not even including real cheats. This if it stands after the test will be ruined by cheaters just like BF 3/4/1/5 are on PC... BF3 and 4 had anti-cheats 4 having two! and it didn't stop them, having zero anti-cheat and forcing this again on console players isn't fair, I left PC gaming due to the hacker fest games turn into only to be put back in there with no real choice. Does EA not pay attention to what is going on in the other big full crossplay game every video atm lol?
Still holding hope that during/after the test they just go console only crossplay like the PS4/Xbox one version.
@carsono311 Sorry But a Dice Dev on twitter said its Xbox/ps5/PC or OFF there is no crossplay with console only option. The worst kind of crossplay imo.

As is evident, DICE are slowly introducing crossplay starting with 'all or nothing'. It is not unreasonable to assume, depending on how technical tests go, that functionality will expand leading to console crossplay only as an option.
One can hope anyway.
- 4 years agohope there will be the console cross play only opt one day, you won't know that Warzone has been ruined by Hackers, and Dice is so dumb that still wants to make it ALL cross play, unfair and unreasonable at ALL !

It's wise to voice concerns but not wise to act like the sky is falling on crossplay just yet.

I would more characterize it as if DICE introduces crossplay starting with a BIG BANG - 'all in' by default and its all or nothing at all!
What we can hope for is that DICE will learn from this and grow up fast, so we sooner and not later get's the option to opt-in on what other platforms we agree to include into our inner circle of trust. Maybe I should not have used the term 'SOONer' here, as EA already diluted that term... But here I mean like in 1st released code update after launch. As I am afraid some of the coder nerds needs to see the havoc first of the monster they have created before somebody else more mature will pull the plug on it and save what can still be saved, by making the players (not the coders) decide what is best for themselves.

@carsono311 I can't as no idea how lol not into social media that much but can link you a forum post with the said tweet?

@1Hairy-GorillaOkay, that really just reads that there have to be two options for cross-play (full on or full off) and that EA DICE are investigating a third option...
Which makes sense, when you consider the ongoing technical testing related to cross-play that they are doing. I would bet that console-only cross-play is exactly what EA DICE are working towards, if they don't already have it down...
