@Sci0n Cross-play is on by default.
You should have a means to disable as you wish, however you will only be able to play with other XBox Series S/X users.

YOu can not turn it off, without going into the consoles setting which then its not consumer friendly. It was told it would be able to turn it off. An when u do block it by settings on the console you can find no game.
Yet on Ps5 there is not issues like this.
You just sit in the laoding screen, so its forces you to turn it back on

Game with alot pc players are just waste of time you put fill clip in them and they just shoot you.
Xbox says go into xbox network account which Is rubbish as any other game has tab on or off. Don't even start me on why we don't even ha
ve comms on a game in 2021.
But shouldn't have to keep going into that screen. I don't on xwing
I turned it off joined server but it's humans and quite few bots but that's better than lag fest from pc players
- @carsono311 This isn’t it working, we shouldn’t have to change our Xbox account settings to disable Crossplay where, the beta had a simple toggle.

@Sci0n Yo! How were you playing the game six hours before launching? Am I missing something? Xbox didn’t let me in until 10:00 Paris time
- @Sci0n sounds to me that there is more PS5 sold than Xbox and not a lot of people have battlefield on Xbox. I think they should add an option to just play with ps5 too instead of both. pc and ps5.That could be a solution but dunno if they can do that.

- @rename95724456 Honestly I'm just waiting for the 19th when they will say nothing about this issue. Because it seems right now that they are very selective when it comes to responding.
I turned crossplay off on PS5 and there are no games not even with AI bots ? Then again it’s Friday morning (Oceania) time - did the game sell so badly ? There some lobbies for BF5 so obviously the games regarded as a Dud in Oceania. Poor me I splashed out early access money
- @Passdogs_dad Hopefully they activate crossplay between ps5 and XsX only.
- @greatkogi Let's get first our Xbox experience... This will change a lot, as now everyone can easily disable cross-play and thus the player pool will grow, which means you'll able to find a lobby without waiting too long. 😊
Still would love to see console only experience, but again, let's celebrate when we get our toggle back. 🎉🍾
I turned it off through console. All I get is xbox users,no real issues finding games
- @Raven27Oifvet708 this highly depends on the time you play, your region and the type of game. I also have no problem to find full AOW games in the evening, it takes longer in the middle of the day, and it's simply impossible to find a populated server for Portal (and I guess Hazard zone as well).
