Crossplay?

i dont mind cross playing with consoles (PS5) but not PC crossplay if there is no anti cheat

YES ! YES YES!

I really hope they don't add PC to the crossplay, I can see console to console being alright maybe but not PC and console crossplay together, just look at MW and Warzone and you'll see why crossplay with PC is a bad thing.

Being a Playstation player I hope Sony gives them the finger if they want to crossplay with PC.

Or NO and it being PS5 and XSX crossplay ONLY with no PC involved would be better, if you're on console and all your friends are on PC get a damn PC, and if you're on PC and all your friends are on console get a damn console and quit wanting the game to be ruined because it will be if PC is added into the crossplay.

Got off the phone with a finance buddy of mine who's also a gamer, told him it seems there's a good chance BF2042 will ship without crossplay, he laughed and said the investors would eat EA alive if they did that.

IF EA are having to make versions for PS4 and Xbox1 because not enough people have the next gen consoles yet, then they would be bonkers to not include, at the very least, Xplay for consoles.  Otherwise come launch it may be a bit poor server wise for the next gen players, with either a small number of servers being potentially half populated with awful AI bots.  

I wonder if the issue is more political than technical.

its only bad cause its a free games, so its hacker city, they wont hack "as much" when they have to pay for it

So if there won't be crossplay,  I'll just play with friends at the same time and we can pretend over discord that the bots are eachother.   Good solution. 

If split screen isn't included in Battlefield 2042, then crossplay should be implemented.
