There is no way to balance people on the server having no desire to play to win the game mode, and I'd argue that this is the reason for one sided matches in this series more than anything else. Platoons in Battlefield so far are just tags and nothing more. There isn't anything in these games right now to encourage people to join platoons and play as a team. Nowhere in the game where top platoons can be challenged by other teams and rewarded for their dominance. I have been saying for years that mixed platoon lobbies and match making is the answer to the unbalanced matches. Wins and executed orders should increase platoon rank. Losses and quitting servers should decrease it. Top platoons should have a bounty on their heads with huge rewards for beating them.
The goal should be to get the teams whether it be a squad of three or a platoon of twenty five that play to win on servers with each other all of the time which will increase the quality of the matches for all involved.
