Dynamic team balancing system

Lots of previous BF games lack good team balancing system which would result in extremely one-sided game that the tickets count of winning and losing team would be something like 1000/200We all know the extremely one side game (get stuck in main spawn) is not as fun as a somewhat balanced game. Even for the winning team, it gets boring to camp outside the enemy main spawn and wait for a few brave souls to come out one by one and get picked off; It gets boring after like 5~10 matches.

So my proposed solutions are:

1) Better Ranked system that groups players of the similar levels in one match

2) Dynamic team balancing system where if the ticket counts ratio of losing/winning team is below certain level (say 30/100) then it would be automatically triggered.

The dynamic team balancing system could do the following things to aid the losing team temporarily till the ticket count ratio is back to somewhat acceptable level

  • Give more vehicle drop calls such as armors or air vehicles
  • Allow losing team to spawn at a far away places from main spawn (so they can get out) via HALO jump.
  • Boost the HP/Damage of worst K/D players on losing team for a few seconds/minutes
  • Visual aids to the losing team such as general direction which objects that they should focus on (losing team usually has no idea to do coordinated attack at once but go different way alone). We all have our Corporal Upham moment when on the losing team and need a friendly reminder of what to do. 
  • Temporarily radar scan that reveals all enemy positions for a short while. This would allow the losing team to break through the defense line created by the winning team easier. 

P.S. Dynamic team balancing system shouldn't be triggered when a match is near the end to avoid unfair win by the losing team; furthermore, it should only be triggered a limited number of times during a match. Also Dynamic team balancing system should be optional feature for server admin to enable/disable since some people might not like it.

    Back in the BF4 days I did a mockup of a detailed stats system. General Overview with class and vehicle breakdowns, and map specific stats. We all generally play and perform differently given the map. Some maps you focus on infantry, others tanks/aircraft etc. Together these two systems would accurately breakdown a players ability. You could easily and accurately use these metrics for balancing.

    Anyway here's the old mockups.

    BF4 had it right. It prevented the server of emptying half match when it was really imbalanced. BFv removed it and was a monumental failure with most server joined being completely stacked on one side with the other side half empty losing hard. So many steps backward in bfv and none made the game better.

    Unless you want to keep BFv indifference to full teamstacking steamroling an empty team , you need auto balance just like previous BF had. 

    Another thing to bring back from previous BF is prevent switching to the winning team half way through since so many people need to ride coattail of others. It's is a long standing tradition among * to switch to the winning team, the very same who dont want auto balance i assume.

    Balanced team has always been more fun for everyone.

    Technicaly true but proven false by BFv. The team with all the level 100 are SO MUCH better than the team with the level 10. All the games in BFv were like that.

    @DAYLEET Level to an extent is a useful tool. A level 100 will be better than a level 10, probably at least 9/10 due to map/weapon knowledge and general game experience in the time it's taken to get there. You get to level 10 in about 5mins and level 100 takes many many hours. When Level gets less useful, is telling apart a level 50 with a 100, or a level 100 to a level 200. This is just time served rather than indicating any actual 'skill'
  • I sometimes like to play 2042 rush mode which is supposed to be 16v16 but the first two objectives get planted before more than 5 of the defending team spawned and I can litterally see that when I look at the map. And I am wondering so often, why it does not wait for a balanced amount of players to spawn before letting attackers go for the plant...

    And why I looked for this topic in the first place: I am so tired of the 13v19 games in a supposed 16v16 mode. And I am in the 13 team which get r-u-s-h-e-d faster as you can even go the the spots from the spawn. It is so unbelievable how in 2021 this is an issue. Even in decade old games like league of legends the clients are waiting for everyone else to spawn but yet I buy games for 90€ to be a ble to spawn on a map with literally 2 other people in my team spawned and I can spot 7 enemies shooting me, running over my corpse planting before a similar amount of players does even spawn in my team on main spawn 70 meters away from the the already planted bomb spots.

    I am level 95 btw. and I an really furious about such simple issues not already patched in the first week or so. Extremly bad experience. Gaming industry getting worse and worse.
