EA  Anti-cheat = garbage

Have switched off VGN V Hub and either it is a huge coincidence or it was that.  Can't think why, all it does is control DPI/lift off distance etc

Ok we have now been with this new system since v 6.0 / redacted map if memory serves me well. After redacted we saw playerbase go way up compared to before.

Before 6.0 it was seldom that I thought something strange going on. Now 5 out of 10 games on redacted - there are people that 100 % can see through smoke from all ranges. I know soo many things spots you - all the Recon speciallists, spot nades, sentry guns and even Paik when you shoot and hit someone they are spotted.

The other day someone got me with 880 shotgun - one shot kill / full health from a range that you cannot do now after latest patch. Cannot remember if it was 04 or 01 buckshots. But it was clear through out game that person knew - more than others. Was a close to 100 vs 10 deaths on the map. 

If player base is up because cheaters now has a free pass - then I'd rather have player base low again and true legit players only.

I agree - EA new AI anti cheat is not ok - and the easy anti cheat was way better - at least how I remember this.

But perhaps it was too expensive for EA / dice to keep paying for this or as they say they could not be in same control as having this in-house.

I only see this problem most of the time on Redacted map - normal maps seem more legit and normal .

Redacted is not like BF5 64 player metro map - but we def. have cheaters on a lot of the maps. And yes I report them when I'm sure that something is not wrong.

EA / Dice - time to make a ban sweep !

Easy Anti-Cheat is free to use. I don't understand why DICE switched to an inferior anti-cheat.

Because its a lot cheaper,in a nutshell.

@TheseusJasonas a start - they can scan the client files and the memory - just like punkbuster did back in the days. This AI look at stats kind of way (me guessing here) like fairfight BS in BF5 and 1 is of no use. I know that those can also be countered but requires more from the cheat coder and then not all will just have it - most likely they then will require some payment.
Scan of files or perhaps have some kind of code encryption along with some certificate mechanism - you can protect your code with certificates / high encryption if you really want to !
