Easier way to play with friends
First if all, many of us Battlefield players have been playing since BF1942 back in the early 2000's so naturally some of us may have 20+ friends we miss playing with. There should be an easy server browser to connect to the same server or join on friend (No matter the number of friends in the squad). I was not seeing any of this yesterday when I was playing and was quite disappointed. the only way 15 of us could play together was to have the 4 people who connected to a custom server leave their party and invite others to that party so we could join on each other. This needs to be fixed in my opinion. All battlefields up until now Allowed all of your friends to join on each other and play together, etc.
Also, why are the squads stuck at the CALL OF DUTY norm?? 4 Man squad? This is BATTLEFIELD... Should be AT LEAST 6 man squads (Like in Battlefield 2) or heck spice it up and make it 8 Man squads. I know I can't be the only one thinking this. If I have 5 friends that want to play a game with me that means we have to squad up 4-man and 2-man squad or Two 3-Man squads.
I was pleased to see the revive ability to be working and not stuck on swapping weapons so that is a plus I guess. However I would like to see the ability to Revive ANYONE, not just my squad mates. I have been around other players who had been down and not able to revive them because we are not in the same squad.
My Two Cents.
Yep... for whatever reason, Dice have completely * over any group of friends that has more than four. And in a game with *128 players.* It just makes no sense. We literally cannot get a 5th person into the game with us outside of Portal, and I'm pretty sure that even if you could, you still wouldn't be able to see them because they'd just be another blue dot among 60 other blue dots because of the squad limit.
They literally did this perfectly in Battlefront II by allowing large parties to for and join matchmaking together as well as making friends that are not in the squad a different color so you can still work together even when not squaded up. As usual, big developer goes a few steps forward and even more steps back in basic areas.
