Hi, It started approximately 2 weeks ago, I click play on Breakthrough (128 players) and I could not find a game at all, I do get a game or two in Conquest (128 players) after long hours of queue. I tried turning crossplay off and on but still couldn't find a game at all, I also tried leaving it on matchmaking for 3 hours straight (non-stop)Join Game>Waiting for more players>Jumps to the main menu>Waiting for more players>Jumps to the main menu>Waiting for more players>Jumps to the main menuIs there any tweak I can work on or there's nothing I can do about it? I tried searching on the internet but I couldn't find any tweak that works, I do want to play this game but I guess there's no luck for me.

Honestly, the game needs a server browser real bad... The matchmaking is terrible. The portal maps need to be incorporated into 2042 or something. I dont even think 60% of the player base truly understands portal mode

@RayD_O1 Yep this should probably be a top priority if not the #1 fix Dice/EA should be looking at in the shortest order. The dwindling player base has pushed this into 5-Alarm emergency territory.

This should have been done before the game launched, I don't know what they were thinking and i didn't see this type of play in the DemoVideos

I thought so too, I can only get a game or two in Conquest Large (128 Players), Breakthrough Small (64 Players) after 1 hours of queue approximately.
During the holidays, I leave it on matchmaking and I fell asleep on the couch, when I wake up, still matchmaking lol.
I'm a fan of Battlefield series since Battlefield 1942 and I bought the Ultimate Edition, darn it lol.

@RayD_O1 I understand it could be the low player count issue and I don't really mind playing with all the bots and everyone can join after when they click on search. Just let me get into the game lol

@Pordigy86 BF2042 is mostly played in North american region .. Asian and Euro market still dominated mostly by BFV ..

It's not just the Asian region that's affected.
I am on the US West Coast and it's been having player retention issues for a while now.
I have to wait several minutes on the "Waiting for more players to join" screen just to end up in a match with mostly bots and a handful of players. I am talking about the two, main game modes. Portal's already dead at this point in my region. This thing's going to be completely dead very soon due to the fact that it has an awful matchmaking/lobby system instead of a proper server browser.

Well when i look at BF2042 numbers just from Steamcharts i can see that BF2042 is as if not more popular than BFV in peak time hours for EST at least here between 18:00 and 00:00 There is more BF2042 players than BFV players .. thats said i find game in about 10 seconds full servers ..

But there is still crashing issues where 20+ players crashes at the same time and are replaced by bots mid match and then re replaced by real players whithin 2 to 3 minutes

@RayD_O1same nightmare bud, I can only find games in conquest sometimes. Wonder if I could use VPN and hop into US region to shoot someeeee..
